Estimate usage

Your $20 plan is applied as monthly usage credit.

A task is one accepted event received or one initial event pushed to a destination. Retries are included, so broken endpoints do not multiply the bill.

How metering works

Two visible counters. One simple task meter.

The dashboard shows events received, events pushed, byte volume, and per-source breakdowns. The billable task count is derived from those same counters.

Counted at ingest

Each accepted webhook creates one received task. Rate-limited and rejected requests do not count.

Fan-out is explicit

Each initial push to a destination creates one pushed task. Delivery retries stay included.

Monthly credit first

Your $20 Pro payment covers the first 666k tasks each month before usage charges appear.

FAQ

Things people ask before they sign.

What counts as an event?

For usage, we count tasks: one accepted event received by Axel, and one initial event pushed to a destination. Rejected requests do not count.

Are retries billed?

No. Retries are included. If your destination fails and Axel retries delivery, those retry attempts do not create more billable tasks.

Why count received and pushed events?

Received events pay for durable ingest and replay. Pushed events pay for fan-out work. Counting both keeps single-destination usage cheap while making multi-destination fan-out predictable.

What happens after the $20 credit?

Usage continues at $0.03 per 1,000 tasks. The dashboard shows received events, pushed events, task usage, and the estimated invoice before the month closes.
